It's amazing all the 'stuff' you can live without. I've managed to 'live' the Suite Life for 9 days now and haven't missed anything yet...well, maybe the other 3 bedrooms, a full kitchen and an extra bath. Oh, and we can't forget the closets! Okay, well maybe I can't live without it all!! ha!

Our Christmas
It was about as nice as it could be. On Christmas Eve we met Cuba and her girls at the movies and watched Night at the Museum. That was a cute movie! After the movie we had dinner at Jackie Lee's China Bistro. We pigged out!! I had the Moo Shu Chicken....mmm! We came back to the hotel and we opened all our gifts. We usually wait till Christmas morning and let them open just one on the Eve but with Husker working we decided to go ahead. The kids got all kinds of toys and clothes and they seem really happy with everything they received.
I had a great Christmas! I got the uber cool Breville epsresso machine! woohoo! Here's what Husker and the kids got me...

mini electric whisk
Xyron sticker maker
pink moto razr phone
So, it was a great Christmas. We still have gifts coming from my family in KY, who knows when they'll actually get here! Last year the kids got theirs the next summer! ha!
Christmas Day the kids got gifts from Santa and we opened our stockings. After Husker got here from work (he got off early, around noon), we got dressed and went to Purplemama's family's get-together. It was incredibly nice of them to open up their home to us and share a nice home-cooked meal! We had a fantastic time. I'm so glad to have a friend like her! The kids exchanged their gifts and played for hours. I missed my family. It was our first Christmas without seeing any of them. But under the circumstances I understood.
Hope you all had a wonderful day!!

Home 'Suite' Home
Well, we're here. We made it albeit extremely tired, slightly stressed and overly anxious. There are a few things that were left at the house, we were packed to the max on Thursday. We still have the walk-thru with the Landlord sometime next week and we can get those things then. The storage unit is PACKED TIGHT. I would have preferred a larger one, but I guess they were short on what we really needed. It's been a little stressful being here while Husker works 1st shift. He goes to bed really early, which makes it hard for me to keep the kids quiet. And you all know the night owl that I am, so I can be a little noisy also.
Friday night we had our Playgroup's 3rd Holiday Party. It was really nice. There were about 60 or so there, LOTS of really good food and a REAL Santa! One of our member's got their Country Club's usual Santa, he was excellent with the kids. It was priceless to see my Lil'Buddy up in his lap whispering in his ear. Of course neither of the girls wanted anything to do with him, I didn't force it or push them.
Saturday I ran out and finished picking up a few last min. items then came back to wrap everything. Since we only have a 12" tree on the end table we stacked everything on top of the table and on the floor, it was starting to look funny!!
Today Husker, the kids and I met Cuba and her two girls at the movies. We watched Night at the Museum... it was so funny! I love Ben Stiller, he cracks me up!
Happy Christmas Eve! We're opening all our gifts (minus those from Santa) tonight! Hope you're all enjoying being with family and loved ones.

Busy Busy
So, as you can tell I haven't been able to keep my blog updated as much lately. I've been so busy packing. It's hard doing it alone with three kids to take care of on top of everything else.
Hope you're all doing well. I'll catch up later!

"True Friendship" (With none of that Sissy Crap!!!! )
HAHA I just LOVE this!! I am blessed to have this kind of friendship with several people, thanks for sending it my way, Ali!
Are you tired of those sissy "friendship" poems that always sound good, but never actually come close to reality? Well, here is a series of promises that actually speak of true friendship. You will see no cutesy little smiley faces on this card-
Just the stone cold truth of our great friendship.
1. When you are sad -- I will help you get drunk and plot revenge against the sorry bastard who made you sad.
2. When you are blue -- I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you.
3. When you smile -- I will know you finally got laid.
4. When you are scared -- I will rag on you about it every chance I get.
5. When you are worried -- I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be until you quit whining.
6. When you are confused -- I will use little words.
7. When you are sick -- Stay the hell away from me until you are well again. I don't want to catch whatever you have.
8. When you fall -- I will point and laugh at your clumsy ass.
9. This is my oath.......I pledge it to the end. "Why?" you may ask; "because you are my friend".
