Tabloids
Do you ever read those trashy tabloids at check out isles of most grocery stores? Isn't it funny how some people actually believe what they read in those tabloids?
Better yet, how did the stories start? Usually they take a very minor detail of a story that may have some truths to it and then add 98% of made-up bullshit - viola! Now you've got a tabloid story.
I would say MOST everyone I personally know looks at those and knows there is no truth to any of those pages bound together, so why is the same gossip and trash believed to be the truth when it is told about people you actually know? (this of course doesn't apply to everyone... we can't all be naive, can we?)
Ask for facts, be upfront if you want to know something, just ask. Honesty IS the best policy, isn't it?!
