The BEST Waffles

This morning we went to Shoney's for breakfast. There's not many places around here to have a sit-down meal for the mornings, or least we don't think so. So, we went to Shoney's. They give you the option of the breakfast bar or having your meal cooked-to-order, they also have a cook setup next to the bar so you can order omelets or waffles. Today Husker ordered an omelet and I ordered waffles. Oh.My.Gosh. They were SO good!! The plate had this mixture of butter and syrup with dabs of cool whip. I can still taste them 10 hours later!
