Terrific Tuesday
Just another terrific day. We managed to get out before noon, fully dressed, no fighting or running away from a diaper change, backpack fully loaded and ready for a full adventure today. Picked up a friend and her two daughters and headed to the park. The playgroup had a great park day. Seven or eight mommies, 10+ kiddos and lots of priceless momments. We ventured to Ritas afterwards, and let me tell you if you have never had a Ritas then you just have no idea how addicting these things are! Things, you ask? Gilati's... creamy custard and Italian Ice! Oh.My.God. YUM!
We managed to drop in at the friends for a hour or so just to chat. Her husband was there, really nice guy. Lil'man chased the cat around, poor cat! We went home for a couple of hours then met more friends for family night at the good 'ole Chick-fil-a! Tonight the kids got to paint on the windows. Talk about perfect picture ops! Just imagine wrapped in orange aprons from Home Deopt with their little cups full of paint whiskfully painting an image some call art, I call masterpieces!! Thank goodness I got a few pictures!
Arrived home just in time for American Idol. Okay so you want my opinions;
Nadia .::. Her hair gets on every nurrrve in my body!! So it's distracting to me to hear her sing!
Anwar .::. He belongs on a cruise ship or better yet, back in the classroom. Nope...gotta go!
Scott .::. Ok, has a good voice but can give the look of death! Maybe a mean streak? Nahh, you don't say?
Anthony .::. Sometimes he's on, sometimes he's off. Just dunno!
Carrie .::. Girl ROCKED it! Even though she had a few slips, I think she showed how diverse she is!
Bo .::. Blah.
Constantine .::. Good lord would you find another look, please? The seductive thing is just getting creepy!
Vonzell .::. Um, okay...she seems a little too reserved or shy.
So, there you have it, my rundown! I pick Nadia to go this week.
Afterwards, hubby is awake and ready to go BACK to work! :( The 10 mins. weren't enough. Thank goodness for weekends though! I just finished sending out 70 emails to the playgroup members. That was really interesting. It really helped me to get to know everyone better too. I missed giving that personal touch!
The kids want to play, it's 1:30am... surprised?? Wonder if a nice, warm bath would help call the sheep?
